Xarelto and uncontrollable bleeding can be illustrated as such: If someone discovers that there is a leak in a kitchen or bathroom, one may turn off the main valve or an other supply of water before starting to repair the leak. This is done because if something goes wrong with the repair, there won’t be anything to do to stop that excessive and uncontrollable flow of water.
This type of experience describes what is going on with Xarelto. Once someone starts bleeding after taking Xarelto, it is very difficult to stop the excessive and uncontrollable bleeding.
Individuals may be entitled to financial compensation that is either for themselves or a family member who may have died as a result of taking Xarelto. The lawsuits are based on the dangers of taking Xarelto becuase of the bleeding risks and no antidote. There are various bleeding injuries that have been associated with Xarelto, such as the following:
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
- Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)
In December 2014 a federal Xarelto multi-district litigation (MDL) was established in the Eastern District of Louisiana. If you or a loved one suffered from an injury, such as the above, while on Xarelto, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries and losses.
